Transcription

Transcription is the word-for-word typing out of an audio file. 

Standard transcription retains the integrity and exact wording of an audio file but excludes unnecessary information such as filler words (“uhm”, “uh”, etc.), stutters, and repetitions. 

Verbatim transcription is an exact word-for-word version of an audio file, including filler words, stutters, and repetitions.
